I really think mylot help out really in developing our english grammar and the way we express freely our thoughts. Don't be upset when you sometimes don't understand other respond because same with us english is not there 2nd language too! So we have to really understand them the way other understand us.
I really think it is better first to respond to existing discussion first before starting more discussion on your own develop a strong friendship first and then you will discover that in return many will value you as a friend here and no matter what will be your discussion there are friends who will surely respond to you because they reciprocate the way you respond to them.

Hi, first of all, welcome to MyLot! Yes, posting here at mylot is a good way to practice your English. I commend you for wanting to better yourself. From your post I am sure that you already have the knowledge, but you need some fine tuning. This really comes from not being used to English in either spoken or written conversation.
But since you are a newbie here, I would suggest that you concentrate more on responding to other posts first before starting your own topics. Try to read the posts of other people, especially the native English speakers, so that you can grasp more or less the finer points of the language.
When you feel that the posts that you are making seem to be more understandable, you may then attempt to start your own topics.
I am not a native speaker too, although our medium of instruction in school has always been English. I am actually better in written English than spoken English, but I know I am getting better at it since here I am virtually "forced" to just write in English, unlike in my local forums wherein I can use Filipino as a fallback whenever I grope for a word.
Good luck to you and have fun here at MyLot!

First of all welcome to mylot, this is a great discussion site and you will really enjoy yourself here. Maybe you don't realize it but I am reading what you wrote and you write very well in English. There are many people who can't write half of what you have written. Don't give up. Your English will get better and better when you write more. Just answer discussions and post some discussions of your own so we can answer them for you. Look at it this way, your English will improve and you will make some money too. So you hang in there, OK zlesing. Let's be friends.
