Can't think while hear music

I usually studied while listen music, I always do my stuff with music.

i dont think there is a problem with you. you just concentrated on one thing...

i cant think with the music on either. when i try to, i want to do work and listen to music, but every time i do, i only concentrate on the music and nothing else.

Wow... i guess it shows how different some people are. I feel that i concentrate better when i have music to listen to. it keeps me focused and away from other ambient noises. i find small noises like book pages flapping or people speaking bothers me a lot more than having my music continually going in my ear. when i am at the library i usually have my iPod with me. even when i am doing my reading for school or studying or working on a paper, i work a whole lot better with the music. to each his own, i guess...

While listening to music U should not think of other things.

Same Problem with me too, cant concentrate with music on.. and for some ppl it is the complete opposite.. students listen to music to help them study.. i guess that means "to each his own"

If I listen to dance music I can excersise or do house work.... but if I need to concentrate... it has to be in silence... when I hear music ....it makes me want to sing and dance... and that takes all my attention.

i dont find it a problem at all....to me, it really helps...bcoz, u dont need to be paying attention to the music, u can focus on what ure doing instead, at the same u will feel good inside coz of the music playing in the background... (especially if u r a music lover, but who isnt?)..it gives me great rhythym to whatever i am doing....
