when do you know you are done?

I've had a few long term relationships, and when they were done I knew it. There was no love left, but there also wasn't any hate. They were just done. I had one that I wasn't ready for and it took me 1 1/2 yrs to get over. Here I am now 7yrs in, in my mind I know it will never work. Our fighting is now making me physically sick, but I love the son of a biacht, and I don't know how to stop. The kicker is I know I am the love of his life, I know he loves me. But he keeps pushing me away. It's like he dosen't want to be happy.
