Do you think its really worth it to stay active in mylot?

I think this is a very valid question. Do you think its really worth it to stay active and continuously post here in mylot? Maybe its time to step back and see what mylot provides us. Yes, it pays out but remember that there are other sites which pay as well. Also, there are other interest sites which can make us productive as well. For friends, there are also sites such as friendsters where you can do just the same. So, do you think staying active in mylot is worth it for you? Why?

This is a valid question. Hmm.. and a timely one I must say. The earnings were just updated and I was studying my earnings.. seems to have dropped recently. The pay is already bad and it is getting worse for me.
I must say that my interest is also declining accordingly...

I am actualy glad that you said that, because I have felt the same. At first I thought it was just because I have a new job, which means I spend far less time on MyLot than I used to, but even allowing for that, my earnings for the past few weeks have been down on the same amount of posts made a couple of months ago when i first started here. One day I got 10 best responses in one day (not boasting - just telling the truth), and yet the earnings were negigible:-((

i wish they paid more but its still money isnt it at the end of the day all i do is chat and if its on mylot i get money ....so im happy with it

yes i think it worth to stay active in my lot it because u get the money , second u get many friend and u also can gain knowledge by doing mylot..
the knowledge come if u ask the the question and u get a replay and u know the answer
of your question the where the knowledge came from ..

i agree to both of you. there's a lot of good posts but there is also a ton of bad posts here in mylot. takes patience to find an interesting post.

i had been here for 7 months and i can't find anything wrong with mylot. it makes me enjoy a lot of things i haven't enjoyed much in my life before.
i am not an outspoken person and here, i am able to share to people around the world what i know, my thoughts, views and opinions on certain matters. i also learn new things from others. when i get to ask for advices, there are lots of people here who easily help out no matter what. i gain friends here that aren't active in friendster but are only into discussion sites like mylot.
sure, we can't get rich here. i did not get rich here. i am not focused on the earnings i get in here. but i am happy with the friends i gained and will still gain in the future, the learnings i get and will still get in days to come and the fun and excitement in reading others' views in lots of issues around the world... the earnings are just there as a bonus for having a great time here.

Yes, I think it is really worth it to stay active in Mylot even if for a few hours in a day because here, you get to earn money. And not only that, you also get the chance to voice out your opinion with anything and everything that you want. As for me, it definitely increased my typing speed and my grammar as well.

I think it is worth it. I made more than needed for payout in my first month with around 350 posts. I love it here and would enjoy it here even without the money. I did start here for the money but I stay cause I like it.
I make money on other sites doing other things so this is just a nice bonus.

yep. i agree with you maildumpster. at first we all are interested with the money. but later on, we find home here and feel welcome. so, we stay and stick to this site not minding and centering our full attention to the earnings we get but what we get beyond the dollar figures. just like you, i make money on other sites but still, i am here to learn something new and gain new friends.

Mylot may be paying members less than other forums, but i will stay here because the design and structures are better than other forums, I joined other forums, but i do not know why i cannot really enjoy posting there.
It is hard to earn more than $50 every month, may be you need to have 200 posts and 10 discussiosn everyday, it is what i already anticaipated before I joined mylot. I would be happy if mylot paid us more, but i understand they will not change the current system. Anyway,as long as i can enjoy the discussions in mylot, I will still be satisfied and stay in mylot.

I think its worth it, but sometimes I dont like or dont know how to reply to some of the questions and i just leave.
but i have made over 50 bucks on this, so I think its worth it!

is mylot worth it.yes it is,but i dont stay on here all day so i dont get bored with it.i spend most of my time on my lot early in the mornings an check in during the day.but mylot gives you a place to get things off your chest an meet people.im not here for the money.its nice to see what other peoples life is like.an members can give you some great advice.

yeah , , i think it's still worth it to stay an active member here in mylot , , yes you got a point , , there are other sites that pay , , but i haven't found any site that pays better and constant like mylot, , and why use friendster for looking for friends while you can do it here on mylot? , , :) you can earn at the same time , , well , , i have nothing against friendster , ,i have my account there , , but , , i think i enjoy my friends here more ,, because we tend to exchange some thoughts and i really get new ideas just by reading in discussions , , i bet you won't find it often in friendster or even myspace , , :)
looks like you are pretty new here , , don't worry , , after you make some more friends and earn , , you will enoying your stay here in mylot , , :)

I have stayed active in my lot because it gives some feeling of accomplishment. The sharing of experiences and ideas, they're just great. I gather a lot of information here which I find useful. In other words, it is life enriching just doing all these in mylot.

Well, I just got paid $22 from them, so that encourages me to stay active. But my ability to earn seems to have slowed down, and I make about $0.50 a day here now. And to be honest.. 50 cents a day isnt hardly anything at all. I could clip a coupon in 2 seconds that would save me that much money, but it takes a bunch of posts to get to 50 cents. So I don't know...

Yes, It's worth staying active and post a discussion and reply but IO am naot making much here I stay ona reply so many like 10 or 15 but I get 4 cents a day I don't know what I am doing wrong and I am just learning here and enjoyed being here to make friends.

It's probably not worth it in terms of earning money,lets face it if you don't have referrals(which i don't have yet)you have to work at it to earn any sort of money.MYLOT is addictive it's not so much avout earning money but interacting with different people from different parts of the world.It's like opening up the world and learning different things.That's why it's worth staying active to me

I don't use this site for the money, although I get a kick out of watching it slowly add up! I like the people I've "met" here so far. I like the discussions I have seen and posted here. I haven't tried the other sites you mention. I might like them, too, but I'm pretty satisfied here for now.

As there have been many people ahead of me and many people registering since then (that's a week or so ago from today), I guess, some people here believe it's worth it to stay here. Aside from the fact that there is an income (which can't pay the bills, by the way), I also find the forums here to be mind stimulating. It encourages me to think and for that alone, I have decided I will hang on for a while.

yes of course.. its fun being a member of mylot. i can shares my ideas, advices, news and i also learn some other sites to view. yes friendster is also fun but in mylot you can also have friends at the same time earn money as well.

I'm a new member here in 'mylot'. For me it's worth it because i love sharing my thoughts to everybody! The joy that mylot brings to me is priceless, even if my eyes get tired of reading and reading!
