The number in bracket after your name means the number of posting you have made in mylot. (9) means that you have already posted 9 responses or new discussions.
If you carry on posting response or new discussion, the number will increase.
When the number reach (100) that means you have posted 100 responses or new discussions, a colourful star with number will popup at the side of your nickname.
You have 91 posting to be sent but don't worry for no time limit for the achievement.
You just take your time and carry on posting and you will have a clourful star shining infront of your nickname then.

This number within the brackets after the
user name gives the number of points (here
known as ratings) that we got for contributing
on this Mylot web site . This number is
one of the main factors in deciding our
earnings .
The points / rating increases by responding
to other members discussions . It also
increases (indirectly) for the replies
we get for our own discussions .

It's the number of discussions you have responded to. Once you get to 100 you will also have a star rating which indicates the level of your responses.
Good luck and welcome to mylot.
