Yes Indeed they are incomparible. Both of them are excellent and India is proud that they have such gems here. I guess you have just joined at myLot. Good one keep it up. Its a good website and it seems to be a genuine one. Do you have any idea as to how can we increase our score here.

No both are not equal but in my opinion in sense they are equal as they are experts in their own area.

I guess you are wrong. In my Opinion Asha is more versitile as she has the ability to create more variety.

First of all, I think both the sisters are legends in their own rights. It is sad that they went their separate ways, else the combo would have been deadly. On the face of it, based on the songs that both have sung, it does seem Asha is more versatile than Lata. But, whenever Lata has ventured to sing different songs like "Aa jaane jaan, yeh mera husn jawan" and "Zara sa jhoom loon mein" she has been sterling. So I guess it would be wrong to say that Asha ji has been more versatile than Lata.
I think it has more to do with Asha being married to R.D. Burman who likes to experiment a lot, that gave Asha the opportunity. But having said thus, she did absolute justice to all the songs that she got. No doubt about that.
So in my verdict, both are legends and incomparable.
Cheers!
Ram

Yes, Definitely you are right. I was wrong. Comparing two great persons is unjustified.
