what song brings tears to your eyes?

"Heaven Knows" brings me to tears... It makes me cry everytime I listen to it...

hi maxxine,,nice topic huh!! well for me the song that makes me cry is the"somewhere over the rainbow"i it really touches my heart because that was the first song that my father and i used to sing together... whenever i hear that song i cant help but cry... 'coz my dad just past away 3 months ago..

my dear friend, there is the power in the music tomake u think about u , ur surroundings.it gives u pleasure it may also make u weep. there is the power in indian classical music to do so. basically indian classical music is spiritual & all the devotional compositions r so heart touching, there is so much urge to meet god that if u really listen to them with ur full heart attached to it u will start weeping. there r some raagas like miyaki todi/jogiya/maarwaa/bhairavi which r basically meant to express ur feelings of loosing someone want to get closed to ur loved one, ur sorrow,grief.,depression.there r also the raagas to express ur joy ur fullfillment,ur anger, ur excitement,to calm u down, to motivate u & so on!!!

If You Could Read my Mind by Gordon Lightfoot. It reminds me of every relationship I tried in vain to save that eventually failed. Although I know it's for the best now, it still hurts a little when I listen to it.

there is only one song out right now that can get me to just cry and lose it..thats "Hurt" by Christina Aguilara..the video bothers me, but I can't help but to watch it..it makes me think of my parents and how I miss my mother..its just a sad song..
