How can you collect so many stamp? You buy from post office first day the stamp issued?

Collecting stamps is a hobby I pursued because, I found that there are some stamps which are unique and some are beautiful. I like the ones that come in bigger sizes, their colors and images are easier seen and I really appreciate their designs.
