Most of us must have had our share of this game. I still remember playing this game for the first time, and getting so much involved with the game, that my grades went down the lane.
Its authentic music still comes to my mind. The excitement of completing a stage, the getting a life line are some things that are hard to forget. Even now i play the game some times.
To end with, what godfather is to movies, Mario is to video games.

when mario hit the market, i was still in elementary back then. and i admit, i am one of those mario brothers nintendo game addict! my brother and i play together. he wants to be mario and i end up being luigi! but it's okey. it was fun especially when collecting the bonus coins and some stars! hehe. and jumping on mushrooms and squashing enemies! i never won over the king dragon but my brother always did. hehe. those great fun mario days are still fresh on my head.

Someone actually came up with a techno version song of the Mario music and sound effects. I had a friend who burned it for me on a cd, and I can't help but be brought back to the original Mario game every time I hear it.
