We lost our dog last month, one day after his 10th birthday. The pain was unbearable and I am still crying even now. He lost the battle when he was in the operating room. THere are many nights when I cry because I am missing him. I just console myself with that thought that He is no more in pain and is now at peace. He was a great dog. A very sweet syberian husky. He never had any health problems except that one time (last month) and that's the time we found out that he had cancer. The vet told us that he was a brave dog. After all those years, he must have kept the pain. He acted so healthy and funny and energetic...and suddenly..two weeks in pain. That's probably the time when he can't ignore the pain no more. We sent him to the vet. The first time, they can't seem to figure out whats wrong. Thought, its his teeth that's why he won't eat. The next week, he was scanned and that's the time the vet decided to have operation to get the cyst. We all love him and like every dog lover, I would do anything if I could only have him back..but..that is life. We all come and go. We will meet again soon though..and I know He will be waiting for us in Heaven.

I got a dog named Whitey because her fur was as white as snow. She's a sweet dog. My sister and i would dress her up and we'd go strolling on the street.
One night about 4 years ago, my sisters and i went out and accidentally forgot to lock the gate properly. We got outside. We didnt worry the next day since dogs usually have the ability to go back home, but days passed by that she didnt come back. We tried looking for her, even going to the dog pound but she wasnt there. It was really sad.

This was about a half a decade ago. We had 5 dogs then and one of them was not very popular, she was always being bullied by the others and we had to feed her in a separate room just so the others wont fight her off of her food. So one day the gate was left open and the poor little thing escaped. Stowed away. Ran off. :( She was the youngest so we were very worried. Eventually my grandmother found her in one of the houses a block away. My grandmother returned to where the dog was staying and bought her a banana, that was the dog's favorite food. So after a few more bribes my grandmother was able to coax her to come home.
When they got home, the dog was greeted quietly by the others. After that the older dogs left her alone and didn't bully her anymore.
