Sleep deprivation may lead not only to bleary-eyed mornings,but clouded moral judgement as well a study suggests.Army researchers found that when they subjected a group of volunteers to two sleepless nights,the lack of shut-eye seemed to hinder participants's ability to make decision in the face of emotionally charged,moral dilemmas

yeah i would have to agree with you by that!
As far as my observation is concern,
When were having a trouble regarding on our sleeping routines, we tend to be more psychologically affected, it has the same effect when we're hungry.
Our minds is controlled by different organs in our body and our organs has the same way over our minds.
When our body is over used and if it not resting well, then our organs would be affected because of it.
That's why having a good rest, sleeping well everyday is really important in our life!

i think this is well-established fact. We operate at maximum efficiency after 8 hours of sleep and we are proportianetly impaired in our judgement dependent upon how much of the eight hours we do without.

Lack of sleep not only affects moral judgement. It affects the human bodu in its entireity. You feel fatigued, vision gets blury, stuff like that. =) So be sure to get ample amount of sleep people! =)
