You first dread the search, hitting the pavement, searching for A JOB!
Daily searches on the internet, newspaper, asking friends and family. Sending your resume to 40 places...
The the phone call... your reminded of where you sent the resume and if you would be interested in interviewing...
Why not right, you applied 6 months ago , and this is your first hit...
You go into the interview after trying on every item in your closet! Straightening your hair and wearing make-up that might be expired...
Those dreaded words " so tell me about yourself"
Does this person really want to know ??????
HONEST: I am not confident, nervous, stressed, 35 years old and have not a clue where this life is taking me... Un motivated, have multiple personalties, spent the last 16 years talking to dishes, screaming at the washer, cursing the floor, and convicting the dryer of sock theft!
My collection of pajama bottoms would scare you, and I own one dress!
LIE: Dedicated, level headed, dependable, works well with others... Organized, and family oriented....
Ok so your lies land you the job... SUDDENLY you are happy about this... Boost of confidence...
You walk out head high, and instantly stick the cell phone to your ear calling everyone who will listen " I GOT THE JOB"
TO BE CONTINUED........................

LOL I have many years experience working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with disabled people and I had to find them jobs. So finding a job is hard work. When you start your new job make sure and update your resume just in case you will be looking for a new job in the future. People rarely stay in one occupation for the rest of their lives. Congratulations on your new job.
