child labour

children working any where is treated as child labour,and western countries make lot of noise but how come children working in films including western film is not treated as child labour.

I think the children working in western filsm are bound by rules. They can film only so many hours a day and they have to go to school. The child labour you are talking about is not chosen but born out of necessity (poverty) and in our western world we tried (in some countries more succesful than others) to ban that child labour out of society. Labour for me indicates more than just work: it is work you have to do because you and your family have to eat not because you like it.

Surely you cannot compare the labour of the boy in the photo in the post above to that say of Daniel Radcliff in Harry Potter?

yeah good question, but i feel that not a kind of child labour as far as kids too love the name n fame they get through films according to their performances. may b one way it might be sounding like they are choosing their career for future.
