I checked my credit and found a ding from NCO Financial Services. So I decided to do some searching on the web about the company. Didn't find anything that made me feel like calling this company and settling my debt. I know I owe the money. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has had good dealings with them

I worked for a hospital who assigned bad debt to NCO all the time, all I can tell you is that they're rude even to their clients that send them work. I'd try to work it out with the original person you owe the debt to.

One of the things I have heard is even once you resolve the debt with the original creditor, NCO will still pursue collections. I guess I will contact original creditor and when I pay them, I will have them fax me a copy of payment recieved and have them contact credit reporting agencies to delete the account. I personally think it is wrong for collection agencies to sell debts to other agencies and such.
