There are thousands of galaxies out there, some that we haven't even discovered. A person would have to be pretty close-minded if they thought that there wasn't at least one other planet with life of some sort on it.

very true...did you know we can see 90% of the galaxies in our universe? We still can't see the tiny little planets that are harbouring life, but still interesting none the less

I guess the only way we will know for sure will be when the other life form exposes itself to us.And even then there will be doubters.

Humans will probably get to know about life in the universe when we can actually get out ofthe universe. But thats almost impossible with the technologies of today since it takes ages to get to Mars.
