Yesterday was a sad day and a happy day

I don't feel that myLot is worth stressing myself over. At first I tried setting goals but I found myself pushing harder, giving less quality responses, and not enjoying my time here. I do what I can and if I can't do much oh well I pray my friends will understand if I don't respond to all or sometimes even any of their discussions. I would rather do what I can and know I am doing a good job. I didn't feel like I did much of anything but goof off yesterday and I made $1.31, I was thrilled with that and had a great time late into the night.

Hi! I'm glad you reached 1000. I would also like to reach that number but I guess I've still got a long way to go. As you can see, I only get excited when I'm near the number. For example, when I was on my 450th, I really tried my best to work harder in order to reach 500. Perhaps when I'm on my 980th, I would be so excited again. I don't have particular goals here, and I take my sweet time in responding to discussions. I don't expect to earn high because I'm just trying to have a great time. The money is an added plus but of course it's not much, and it's not my reason for joining here. I have a day job, and I just log in when I have time at night, or only during weekends. Firstly congrats on your 1000 postings! I think my major target was 2000, when I had about 85 responses to get to reach the big 2K. It took virtually all day, in between going to the gym, doing the housework and watching 2 episodes of Stargate! It was tough but I made it. Now I don't set myself any target.

Congratulations on reaching 1000 posts. I don't like to set goals for how many posts I will do in a day because I see too many members trying to see how many posts they can make and I see the quality of their posts suffer. I would rather make quality posts than quantity, so I won't set a goal for the number.

Well done for reaching such a milestone! My current goal is just to come on every day as I'm very busy at the moment (mostly revision for exams) but previously I tried to reply to one post for each of my friends every day. Hopefully I'll go back to doing that soon and also start up some more topics when I have time to reply.

I have achieved my goal last week. My next goal is to reach 500 posts as soon as possible while maintaining a 10 rating. I have a goal of min 10 posts a day.

Likewise, I gotta admit you did a great job. Personally, I know how it feels when you're near a target and you strive hard to reach it, often hunting for discussions so that you could post a reply. Well, I had that experience when I was near my 100th post. Not a number to be proud of, but still, it's something to motivate myself. The best way to keep posting on mylot is to have a consistent habit of posting a set number of posts everyday. I set a target of 10 posts per day. Sometimes, I get excited and kinda 'cheated' when I post more than that. Yesterday was one such instance when I posted say, maybe 15 or more. And I got paid 50 cents for it. Hmm, not bad. Lol Anyway, keep up the good job. =)

CONGRATS. It's fun of getting involved in discussion, I enjoy every responses and discussion I start. I became member a week back and happy with close to 50. I aim for max 10 and noramlly 5 a day.

wow! such a great effort of posting. i myself cant do that. probably coz i have an 8hour office work. i set my mind to post at least 10 postings a day. that's fair enough. i can learn a lot here in mylot and i really enjoy reading sensible ideas.

I use to try to make 100 posts a day now Im lucky if I make 30. It all depends on the time you can put in here. I suggest you sent your goals alittle lower and then you wont be upset if you dont make it.

congratulations for posting and replying as such its not easy right? For me i can't go beyond my server can do. Its too slow here, i mean my connection. even if i can do a lot in my mind i still can't coz always problem with my pc and connection. wish to post even 20 and the rest will be responses.

I really notice something new it is your avatar you changed it!! Congrat's to a remarkable mark of 1000 that was really something that can cause your finger to sore lol!! Like you I dream of a goal more than 50 but that was not possible for me because I respond more on a discussion which requires more on descriptive respond that's why I can't reach my goal of 50 everday. But not be sad my friend even we doesn't really attained our goal at least we exerted effort to respond with credible answer and that is what matter's most. Congrat's again.
