Are homosexuals born gays/lesbians or is it psychological?

There are many disputes about this issue. I've heard that back in the early 80's psychologist determined that it was a psychological process that a person goes through. But later on, they were forced (via the "gay agenda") to change their view saying that homosexuals are born gay/lesbians. One question about being born gay/lesbian, is regarding DNA/Genes. How can two straight parents give birth to a homosexual child? Wouldn't the genes from the parents make the child straight as well? or Is being gay/lesbian a mutation in the child brain that allows him/her to believe she/he is an homosexual? What is your opinion?
