When do you think is the perfert time to die? When do you want to stop your life

Good Question. Now I know why I have you for a friend.. I have often thought about that. I am so independent. I have live on my own for over 15 years. I am an extremely healthy 50 something athlete and I think I know just when I would like to leave this earth. When it comes to the point that I cannot venture out alone and walk along the river and see Mother Nature at Her best, I think the time is coming. When I cannot look after myself in safety and often leave the stove on and forget what I should be doing, and am danger to others around me, I think my time is coming. When my children have to sacrifice their busy lives to care for me and worry about me, then I think my time is coming. Right now, that is a long time away and I hope I have many years to enjoy the golden days of rest and down time that I will have earned after putting in over 40 years of hard work...

I think there is no right time to die. You cannot control the time when it will hit you...I'm not yet ready to die because I still need to prepare the future of my children. They are still young and I dont want them to suffer because I left them at an early age...I want to be with them too when they already have their children so that I can see the reap of my plans for them...I wish God is listening to my prayers to give me long life to fulfill my dreams..

I think the perfect time for me to die would be when I am not able to function well, both mentally and physically. If I had to be hooked up to life support in order to live, I would not want to live anymore or if I could not think for myself. I do not want to be alive if I am completely helpless and can not do anything anymore. Age is not a matter of great importance.

my father was 80 in january and thank god he is alive. He still drives the car, is mobile, and is really young. He minded himself, ate well etc. So he is no burden on us and he is enjoying his grandchildren and us and our lives. I am 47 so hope to be around for a long time yet by minding my diet and exercising etc. I want to see my kids grow up and have children and to enjoy my grandchildren and hopefully travel some more. Last week myself and my husband were in korea to visit our oldest son who is teaching english over there. We would never have gone there only for he was there so I hope to have lots more places to go and time to go to them, through my kids. So live as long as you can is my motto, there will always to something to see and do.

Well anyway, a perfect time to die for me i think is when you feel like you got accomplished everything you wanna do.. You've had everything that you wish for.. when you feel like you are contented on what u have now in your life, i think that's the best time! But ofcourse, we still want to see our siblings and grandchilds to you know? see them growing up and teach them what you've taught of your siblings before....
