How mylot will save me hundreds of dollars....

I realize today, that my goal to submit over 200 responses will mean spending a good 8 hours of my day off time here at my computer.
Before I began with mylot, I would do many other things. I would go out and most likely buy things I didn't really need. I would drive around and burn up expensive gas going nowhere.
Now......not only will I earn $50-60 U.S. per month, I will most likely save several hundred every month that I would most likely be spending...
This is actually really great....We should think past how much we earn with mylot to how much "WE DON'T SPEND"

Well it just depends how you do it... I did 2 hours this morning and went for a 2 hour run....then I had breakfast and did another 3 hours and had a nap.
Now I will do another 2 hours and then go out for a nice relaxing coffee...I only have about 55 to go, so I will only have a little to do later on this afternoon and will be free for the evening.. Plus, I only do this long on the weekends..

hmm..interesting indeed
but to spend a good 8 hours doing nothing but posting here, dun you think it is a tat of a waste?
I mean, is it worth it to be earning USD$50-60 a month for that?
posting on forums like mylot is to pass time, and should not be viewed as a means of main income. I have never view them as such... if i get paid for posting, it is a bonus... else, the things learn from fellow members on how to better utilise the time to make better returns would be better ;)
no?

Of course. I am only trying this for one day to see what happens, as I mentioned above.
We will never know these things unless we try..
A don't work today, so it is a good day to try..

I agree...and I am only doing it for a test to see how honest they are about payment.
If they pay the same for 75 posts as 200 than I will have learned something.
I have a real job and earn a ton more than I do here.

In your position that is fine but not everyone is living the life you live or lived until you came to mylot.
Many people do not have 8 hours to spend on line for anything. They share computers, or run busy households, have other jobs, need to care for family members do volunteer work, or just like to go out of the house and take a walk in the bright sunshine rather than stay kooked up in the house all day.
The money being paid is an important issue for me. I have to weight time spent and what I get in return with all my decisions. I am a writer, If I am lucky enough to sell a story I get anywhere from 10 - 100 per story, and that is far more important than my lot. I have to keep up writing and getting them stories out there.

LOL. I'm glad it worked out so well for you. I never did go out and spend money. I have been working online for about four years now. I was referred to Mylot for the earning potential here. I always try all kinds of sites that pay you to earn from home online. That is my source for income to help my family out at the moment. I really am not saving anything though, but I sure am earning some money to be able to spend by visiting Mylot and contributing to it daily.

Interesting way to look at it. I never thought about how when you're blogging, you're NOT spending money because you're not out at say a movie or expensive restaurant.

in my opinion what you are saying is absolutely rubbish. I work full time and go out. I spend an hour everyday on mylot. I don't think its enough for living so I would rather go out and do some work.

i don't think it's totally rubbish. there's a point. there are things we get to stop spending much onto since some of our times are focused here in mylot already. it's true. but sure, we won't get rich here. but atleast, mylot helps us to stay more at home and earn money here and enjoy at the same time.

Thanks for making me laugh!

Great thinking! If I'm not doing this at this moment I'm probably somewhere else. Which means I am probably spending the last money in my pocket. Thanks to mylot. I know have a better thing to do than window shop.

Hello ,ironstruck, good to set a goal of 200 responses, ane even better when you accomplish it. I will try to reply your discussions when you need me..lol...
200 responses in 8 hours that mean you have to reply 25 times in 1 hour ,that mean 2 minutes for each, I think you are a fast typerwriter..
I agree with you because i tend to go back home rather than dining out after work, i save some money.
May be when you are trying to find referrals, you can say mylot is a good site to save money..lol..

What a neat way of thinking about it! I've never considered the idea of saving money by using mylot instead of going out and spending money. Interesting idea!
I really need to count how many posts I make some weekend. I really only spend a lot of time here on the weekends, though I usually am on and off throughout the evening even on weekdays. But I can't be making that many, because I've been here since mid-January, and I still have less than 1000 posts. However, I've made $49.28 in the whole time I've been here, which from my point of view isn't bad for something I enjoy doing.
How do you keep up with how many posts you've made?

I dont think that 50-60 dollars is worth 8 hours of my time... do you? At 6 dollars an hour that's 48... so you'd be earning in a month what you could in a day!
