American Idol's SANJAYA MALAKAR: Hot or Not??

People in forums have been ranting about the fact that Sanjaya Malakar is still on the running to be the next "American Idol". Avid fans of the show say that more talented contestants are being "booted out" in favor of Sanjaya, yet it seems like he's getting more votes from the viewers of the show.
Why do you think Sanjaya is still in "American Idol"? Do you think he will go home soon? Is he a talented singer but his song choices are just bad?

he has a good voice and sure - he can sing but he does not deserve to be there still. There are a few that I would prefer instead of him. I also do not think he is hot but he is all innocent and sweet wich probably gives him the votes. however he was in the bottom 3 last time and I do not think he will be there for 2 long!

i totally agree with you Marie2473! it's just so frustrating to see talented contestants being voted out of the competition. you see that the contestants are really putting all the criticisms by heart and sanjaya's not trying to improve. you know what i mean?

There are only 2 reasons Sanjaya Malakar is still on idol
one is the little girls are voting for him. The other reason is they are voting on him as a joke, they are voting to keep the worst. He cant really sing, and has no sense of hair styles, it is way past his time to leave.
Granted i was glad to see Chris go last night. I had to laugh when Simon said he was better then Taylor LOL yea right.

I think he still there because of all the teeny boppers love him. I don't think he is a bad singer but needs alot more lessons.

Personally, I'm not keen on him. I don't think his voice is strong enough to be in the finals.
I don't think he'll be there much longer - maybe a couple of weeks at most.

i agree, but there have been a lot of casualties already because of the pity and crush votes for him. it's just so pathetic that his fans are so banking on him. it's not good at all. because he's staying on until now, a lot of people have lost interest in the credibility of the show of finding good talents. i know a lot of american idol runners up have been getting good offers, but at least these people have earned their spot in the top 12. sanjaya, by far, does not convince people that he should be in the top 12, performance-wise.

He's still there because teenagers think he's hot. They call to vote for him hundreds of times.

I think Sanjaya will not make it much longer. I believe it is all the teenie boppers who are keeping him in, but soon he will go. I had high hopes for him prior to him making it into the top 12, but now think he is not good enough to make it far as a singer - without severe training.
