I assume that you think it is a bad thing, well it is a man's world and she might as well learn how to compete in it and deal with and what better time to start. If she is a tomboy, so be it, some buy tries to bully her, she will be able to take care of herself. Encourage her to think for herself and be herself.

This is cute, don't panic. Sounds like she is going to be a well rounded child. When my cousin was about six, we were in a department store and he started having a fit because his mom would not buy him a doll. Kids go through a lot of different fazes before they settle on who they want to be. Allow them to explore unhindered, as long as it is nothing to way off. One thing that might make you feel a little bette is if you pack some girly toys for her when she goes to daddy's house.
