responding discussion

i was responding discussion on one of my friend's profile, i was on the 10 th pages when i click on the 11th pages it wont bring it up, it keep bring up old one that i alreday responded to, why is this happending? it is too old that we cant go and answer no more, or is that they not there no more. please help

That was the last page, I think. no more discussions.

It happens once a while....I was not able to bring last pages up on few profiles...
