What is xbox live? lol!
I often talk to folks from the UK on other international boards. In fact one has become a very good online friend. Don't know if I'll ever make it across the pond to visit you guys, but maybe one of these days.
It's been my experience that Americans feel very friendly towards the English (even tho you still refer to us as the colonies- lol!). We pay attention to what the royal family is doing and watch BBC news every now and then. I think Tony Blair is cute. hehe
I post on figure skating boards a lot and your Torvill and Dean have a huge active following around the world, as well as your current eligible skaters, the Kerrs. Overall, the impression is very favorable.

Limeys is a term used in reference to British sailors200-300 years ago. Sailors were susceptible to scurvy which is caused by lack of vitamin C. They were told to eat limes or drink lime juice to prevent the condition. So they were called limeys. That's all I know.
Is it considered an insult?

Many of the Americas i talk to on xbox live aren't very nice to the british homies...but here in Canada we keep the queen on our money...and to me, England is where my ancesters are, and im proud of it.
