What are your spousal nicknames? That you are free to share? How long have you had the nicknames for each other. How did they come about? --------------------------------------------------- Bip or dear for dh I don't remember exactly but it was when we were courting, there was a sign for DIP in the road (large reverse bump, not a condiment :) ) anyhow he had made a comment and it was really off the wall, so I said he was the dip in the road. to cover up I called him Bip and that it was my new nickname for him. IT stuck. now, I hope he does not read this and learn the origin. Wench for me. (j/k) he will call me honey or darling when he likes my company - when he does not like my company it is...well, I would rather not say in mixed company! lol. sometimes he will sing "you're my little pookey bear my ookie wookie something er other pookey bear" or whatever that song was on chittybang bang, Ican't really understand the words when he sings it. or he will sing "pussycat, pussycat, I love you, yes I do - you and your pussycat eyes etc." my father calls my mother *cough* sugar booger mom calls him Roo

Hello there! This would be my 100th post! And I wonder what kind of star I would be having after I posted this reply. :D Since you are the first one to give me a Best Response ( a gross topic plus my gross reply at that :D hehehe!), I dedicate to you my 100th post. :D (nope, I'm not soliciting any response to any of my thread :D).. Just clarifying. Now, in answer to your question... We call each other : "pooops"... yes I know.. it sounds funny.. hehehe.. an exaggerated version of pops (popsicles).. :D

when my hubby and i started dating, it were our co-workers who gave us petnames. i was "muffin", he was "munchkin". when we became a couple, we called each other "babe/baby". and then, when we got married, i called him "honey". he still calls me "baby". i started calling him "honey" when we got married coz i wouldn't want to call him "baby" and then also call our baby "baby" at the same time. add him calling me "baby". it might get confusing! lol!

My husband calls me Meda. He has been calling me that for about 6 years now. My sister in law is puerto rican. So he asked her for a cute nickname and that's what she told him and he has been calling me that ever since. I call him Baba because when he was younger he use to always have a bottle in his mouth and he use to steal his twins bottle and I have been calling him that for 6 years.
