and do you prefer being the oppisite?
what do you think is the adventages of being a left/right handed person?
i know that a long time ago each person that was left handed was looked at as somthing weired and because of that the left handed people were taught to write with their right hand..what do you think about that?
do you think it still exists.
my father is left handed but was taught to right with his right hand..so he now uses both of his hands.
so what are you? left or right handed?

I am a right handed - which is really the more common category today. I know people have been saying that left handers are typically smarter (I have not heard of them being weird though..) but I find this not really true. I don't it has anything to do with intelligence. In fact, even if you are ambidextrous, you aren't necessarily smarter too.

it is better to be right handed because everything is made for right handed people if you are left handed you either have to pay a little more order and wait a little longer if you want it to be made for you hand.

I am right handed and definitely think it is ok to be left handed. It would be fun to be ambidextrous though, doing things with both my hands..hehe I know so many friends who are still left handed. It is much more acceptable nowadays then it was before.

I am a right handed. The world are bias against left handed, you can observe that most of the things that were build have the right handed in mind, and for the left handed, at time they have to adapt or adjust to it, in order to use the product.
I am practising to write with my left.

I am a right-handed one, as many people. And I envy quite a lot those left-handed. It is said that left-handed people are much smarter than right-handed. Indeed I saw one case. The daughter of one professor I know is left-handed and she plays piano that well. Four years ago I began to use my left hand to play badminton, while sometimes I use right hand which was trained to play for nearly 12 years. And now I can play badminton with either hand, changing the hand to grasp the racket frequently. However my right hand is tired easily these days. How nice could it be if I can use my left hand to write. But it is really difficult to train your left hand to write. Maybe that's because what you attempt to train is the finger whose actions are more complex, not as simple as our arms and wrists.

depends where you use it. I use both hands for using the computer, playing the drums and guitars. Actually, each hand has its own function.
I'm right handed by the way.
Also, saying left handed people like Einstein are born geniuses doesn't have any scientific basis. tsk.

I have always been right-handed, I would have love to have been left handed, which would also come in handy when I fractured my right wrist! It wasn't for the want of trying either, I would always get frustrated especially when I used to my left hand I would produce a scrawl that a 4 year old would be proud off! You are deemed to be clever if you can write with your left hand, although it wasn't always so, back in the 70s if you were left handed it was a handicap. Yes I would love to be ambidextrous but sadly it's not the case for me, so I'll always be a right hander.

I am a right handed person. I try to do some jobs with my left hand. For example, locking a ped-lock, you are suppose to turn its key in anti-clock wise direction and I have developed habit of locking the ped-lock with with my left hand, it looks easier to me. Wherever convenient I try to use of my left hand also. I tried to write with left hand, but I could not write successfully. (It is really a fun, if you yourself are right handed, try to write with left hand or vice-vers, YOu will enjoy it).
One of my close friends is left handed and when we became frineds many years ago, his quality of being left handed attracted me and I became his friend.
It is said that if one is writing with left hand, he sould not be forced to write with his right hand.
I also understand the one who writes with right hand, he is controlled by left portion of his brain and one who writes with his left hand, he is controlled by right portion of his brain. I am not sure whether intelligence levels get effected if you are left handed or right handed. But their are certain traits in left handed persons, which are normally not found in right handed persons.

I am right handed. I don't really mind either way which hand I write with, although I always thought it would be sort of cool to be able to switch back and forth between both hands. I try to write with my other hand sometimes, but I'm horrible at it! lol

I am right handed, but left eyed... To almost everything that is found in both sideds of our bodies has a side that specialize in some things while the other in other things.
For an instance - my right hand is great at writing, but my left hand would be the hand to open corks... see? They live along in harmony...

I am right handed. The bias against left handers goes way back. For instance, the Latin word for left is "sinister".

I am a proud leftie =) Becasue you write from right to left in arabic it all works out perfect. the problems accour when I want to write swedish, there you write the inverted way Left to right. This means that my text get all smugged everywhere and my hand turns grey. haha
Otherwise in sports I am double-handed. This means that I can play with both hands. I have heard that this is a trait for geniuses =)

I am left handed and it has been a pain in the ---. Everything is made for right handed people. I have read that 2500 people die each year because they are left handed trying to use mahinery and tools designed for right handed people.
I wouldn't recommend trying to change a child's hand orientation, but the schools need to have desks and other equipment meant for left handed kids.

Left-handed... the only way for me to be!!!!
I don't care how other people look at left-handed people, or if they think different of us.
Think about the people through history...
Napoleon Bonaparte - Left-handed (maybe not the best example.)
Alexander the Great
Joan of Arc
Barrack Obama (hopefully our next president, but I won't get into that here)
Leonardo Da Vinci
Michelangelo
Matt Groening (creater of the Simpsons)
Kurt Cobain
Jimi Hendrix
Bill Gates
I could go on...
but im sleepy...
