Who is the controler in any relationship

A good relationship shouldn't need a controller. When either person starts taking control, the other person is going to be resentful and unhappy. Why not just concentrate on trying to make the other person happy? Do everything you can that you know will make their life better. Doing this, if you really care about the other person, will make you happy as well as make them happy.

In my current relationship my girlfriend is planning to emigrate to canada in june, without me. She seems to still want to keep the relationship going until then. In the mean time she is spending a lot of time with me, but keeps on changing her mind whether it's worth it to be friends or together before she goes. we're planning a night out with a lot of single friends and she has told one of the female ones that they're going to get drunk and oogle guys. I just wonder whether or not I'm completely wasting my time or the love i have for her is worth the pain. I'm unsure of how to approach the situation.

I think it should be balanced both people making decisions then supporting each other in various ways
