Like everyone says your posts have to be interesting(i'm not saying yours aren't)they also have to be about things people know about and can write stuff about.I posted a discussion on PAYPAL and got over 90 response, people know about paypal and can write stuff on it.I've had no were near the same response to any other discussion i've posted.
I might be wrong but as long as you get one response you get paid for the discussion.I don't think it's MYLOTS fault i mean i don't think they hold back peoples responses.User just aren't responding to your discussions.

Brokentia, a member of Mylot explained it to me this way so i am passing along what she said: Imagine a deck of cards divided into ten piles. On the top of each pile is the most recent discussion posted. Someone randomly responds to a discussion and it is pulled from its pile and placed on top. Everyone then sees it and can respond to it. So, each time there is a response, the card goes to the top of the pile where more people will see it. Make friends. Most people will check the line on "discussions"that is discussions my friends have started. If you have friends on Mylot, they will get an email when you post, and they will read it, probably respond to it, and that puts you up there. When someone asks to be my friend, I pull up their profile and look at the discussions they've started. Almost everytime I end upresponding, and it puts the letter ontop of the page. Also, when you are asked how you want the post you've made to be listed; use it. people will pullup discussions under the "my interests" panel. Hope this helps.
