I've noticed most peoples view of the afterlife as either there being none or there being a judgement to decide heaven or hell for the soul. The fear of "not getting in" is strong for some and can shape their belief and religious practice. What I'm wondering is that for those that have the afterlife as a motivation, have you ever considered the view of an afterlife determined without a judge but by influencing factors, such as readiness and understanding of death/after death state and familiarity with virtue or vice from ones life. Also with the possibility of reincarnation, the idea of having to face death multiple times and temporary heaven's/hell's.?
