I can call it CHEMISTRY at first sight! Love is too broad to define and identify at firt sight. Love is like a seed that you nurture and grow.

I believe in love at first sight, and I believe you can meet someone who fits you so well that you'll be convinced that they are "THE ONE" for you.
That said, I think people misinterpret "love at first sight." I think it's more likely that you meet someone you have "instant chemistry" with, and perhaps feel "instant lust" for... and then they turn out to be someone you fall deeply in love with. Then, when you look back from a year out, when you really ARE in love... you feel "certain" (because you remember that initial chemistry and lust) that it was "love at first sight."

Hi Monica. You might have heard that in India
most of the marriges (about 95%)are arranged marriges. In many cases Boy and Girl see each other after marrige.I am a Civil Engineer and I got married 25 years back. After completing my Engineering, on advise of one of our family friends,I went to see a girl and you will not belive me that by the evening we both were so deeply in love that we decided to get marry at once.In few days we got married.Just yeasterday ,my 21 year old daughter, who is doing her Degree in Architecture, passed a remark that give just 5 free minutes to Mom and Dad and they go in to such romatic mood that I have to leave the room.I dont say that we dont fight. But belive me,every fight makes our bond more and more tough.I hope you have got your answer.

I have heard of arranged marriages where you, "Learn to love," someone. That does not count as love at first sight.
You said that you went to see a girl and by evening you were deeply in love. When you first went to see her did you love her the moment that you saw her? It is possible to fall in love in one day, because you have the chance to get to know that person.
What I am talking about is running into someone on the street and feeling genuine romantic love for them immediately.

A few times but looking back I think it was just a crush. Or liking someone alot when you first meet them.

i've never experienced love at first sight and to be honest, i'm glad i haven't. you can never really LOVE someone from the first moment you see him/her... it's absurd...
i'm quite at the opposite pole... i've known my boyfriend eversince i've know myself. we have been neighbours for 18 years and after 15 years i could finally open my eyes and see him (it would have been useless and senseless to see him before...). so this can never be called "love at first sight" , lol! maybe love at 125426474726353th sight, i don't know...
all i'm saying is that i can't say exactly if this really exists or not. maybe there is the slightest chance for two people in say 1 million to love eachother from the very moment they meet for the first time.

I have commonly heard this phrase love at first site, but has not experenced one. My love of life came after we had met for more than a million times, but i surely belive in the phrase First impression Does matter, because its the first impression which initiates the second view.
