Do you want to have kids why or why not?

I don't want kids either. I just hate the little buggers. They irritate me to no end. On top od which, pregnancy is just blech. I'd probably kill myself before I'd go through that mess. And I don't have a problem with people who want kids or have kids since I fundamentally don't believe in controling other people's lives like that, but I hate seeing little kids and pregnant women. It just annoys me. But what I hate more than anything are these self-righteous women who think that having kids are the absolute greatest thing in the entire world and that anyone who doesn't have kids are unfortunate and anyone who doesn't want kids is either stupid, immature, selfish or just a bad person. "How could anyone not want a baby"? type people.

I have a kid that I had at a time when I wasn't planning to have one. It's unbelievable how this little person changed my life. I never regret having her as I enjoy a fulfilled and happy life because of her. The joys of motherhood is great. It might not be for everyone, but it's also too good to miss.
