what do you think of chinese student?

I'm study in a chinese university.Several days ago I read an article about "what do you think of chinese student?".It is said that chinese students study hard and clever . But some people do not like them because of their's bad behaviors. SO I would like to enjoy your opioion.

chinese classmate - he is one of my chinese classmates.
I had some Chinese classmates when I was in grade school. But there are not full blooded Chinese, all of them are half-Chinese and half-Filipino. What I noticed about them is that they have this inclination to mathematics. They can understand mathematical problems faster. Based on my classmates I don't think they are hardworking. They are always playful maybe because we were only kids back then. I am not sure right now if they are as hardworking as the other Chinese people that I know.
