Did you cry when your oldest child moved out? I felt so abandoned, I know I worked hard all those years to instill the confidence, morals, self assurance, and the ability to leave me, but I could not help feeling abandoned and alone. I played the song "It's a Wild World" by Cat Stevens over and over and just howled into my pillow all night. I went into her room and just touched the things she left behind. Did anyone else feel this way? Please let me know.

I havent hit this part yet in my life for my kiddies are 10, 9, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 But you know I have had thoughts about that Big day for it seems to come WAY TO FAST! I would have the same kind of feeling, Its hard when you give birth to your baby raise them, and have nothing but unconditional LOVE for them to see them spread their wings. But you now need to stop crying hold your head high and watch your beautiful child Glow as this is a new and exciting time in her life that she is going to begain. It sounds like you to are very close and dont loose that. Ps: We at Mylot all so here for you, so when you are down and out come reach out!
Take care
