How Important is cricket to you ?

Whats so great about cricket, I don't understand all the hype.... maybe that is because I come from a country of loser cricketeers (New Zealand), but Iv'e been flipping page to page and all the gossip is on cricket!!!
Its a game.... and whats up with trashing the losing countries?... I don't think that a countries status should be determined by how well they run around a cricket pitch .... Iv'e played and watched cricket ...it is one of the most boring sports to watch.... what are your veiws??/??

Wooow girl i dont think Kiwis are the dumbest in the cricket world and i'm quiet against those who decide countries worth upon a sport 
.Me being an indian i love that sport like anything and i love playing it too and i try my best to catch up all the matches atleast indian ones if i'm tooo busy.
It is just that your country players lack unitedness---but vettori is a fighting cricketer and he is an awesome player too
