The importance of smiles

What do you think about the smiles in discussions? I can't find many discussions on mylot which contain smiles.
i think smiles are inmportant in discussions becouse we can't watch ourself during discussions. i have to segnalate if i'm joking or if i'm sad or some other feelings.
What do you think about? Mylot should contain smiles in discussions?

I joined 4 months ago and there are a lot of discussions about this. We even formerly requested them, but as you can see we still do not have them. Maybe MyLot thinks it will use up their servers or they don't want them to be abused. We even suggested the non animated ones and only a few not all of them, but still nothing. Maybe one day if we keep asking.
