Recently, The Indian President's salary was raised to Rs. 75,000. Any manager in a corporate company draws more than that. What I want to know is do you think that it is enough for a person who is running the entire country. If Dr. Kalam worked as a normal scientist, he could have earned more than that. I understand that sometimes we need to think about the country not for ourselves, but what I am worried about is that even youngsters are more keen to have a career and want to earn more and as this field doesn't offer alot money, then how many youngsters would like to join politics.

First of all thank you for giving me this piece of information. I didn't know that our president was earning so less, but in a way it is more than enough because he is getting a lot of benefits as the president of our country.
Politics doesn't have a good amount of legal money but it is still one of the most profitable profession to be in, because of all the money coming from under the table jobs, i.e corruption.
