I have always made it my job most Sunday mornings to clean the wifes shoes and my own.
I have always cleaned my sons (as a boy), my wifes and my own shoes so we make a clean start on Monday. However if we go out and its muddy I do clean them afterwards.
Who in the family cleans yours, or do you not bother?

I clean mine and my sons and my hubby cleans his own. Sometimes I would clean after they get muddy and other times I can't be bothered and clean them when I use them again (hehe).

Well that is very nice of you - to clean your wife's shoes! I tend to avoid the job as much as possible, but I have to clean a pair of my shoes or boots, I will do it myself. Perhaps you could give my partner lessons on how to do them for me:-))

my mother was the one responsible for the cleaning, since she is always at home. For me it is very lame to do it. But sometimes when my mother is not around i was forced. Anyway i were sandals and sneakers, so there is no problem anyway.

I clean everyone's shoes in my home. My fiance is in the military so he cleans those, but his and my daughters tennies I clean them. It is not the most fun job when they step in poopies but I would rather it be outside than inside!

I polish my own shoes at least once a week, I like to keep them looking good.

Most of the time I clean my own shoes but as I was in a hurry to go out to-day, and seeing as my husband was cleaning his shoes, I asked him to clean mine also while I got ready. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would clean all the shoes, as my husband is so slow at it and he really annoys me with the way he cleans them. I would like to add, that his dad always cleaned his shoes for him before we got married. Ugh!!

Well most muddy boots stay in the back porch. We have a scraper by the backporch door as well as a tap. There is a drain there so the mud just washes itself away.
As for dress "boots" in our case I generally will put on the polish and my husband gives them good spit shine.
My dress shoes don't really need cleaning that way. I will just do a quick shine with a cloth and away I go.

I don't clean mine and yes he cleans his, shoes wise. I use trainer most of the time and sandals in summer so it's easier to maintain. Why clean them, they'll get dirty again, I thought :)
My husband is in general very picky of what he wears or where to buy them, how to clean them etc. He did show me how to clean leather shoes (at the time he was going to buy me one) but it's way too methodical as if you miss the steps Your Majesty the Queen of England will send you to the Tower or something ! So I said forget it, no leather!
By the way that's very nice of you being the shoe cleaner for everyone. They do make money hahaha kidding
