does anyone know about cerebral palsy?

i have been looking up on the internet symptoms, and have some information. but is anyone dealing with it personally? i have a nephew that i think may have it. he is 8 months old. he cannot sit up, and hold up his own head yet, and this does not seem normal to me. his eyes do not follow my fingers, and something seems to be off. i've had 3 kids a long time ago, and i know they all do things at their own pace, but my gut tells me to worry. her pediatrician tells her he is "just fine" but i think not. and at what age do you worry about these things. He seems to be the very best baby, no crying, just sits in his carseat, doesn't reach for you though.. i don't know. can you give me any reason to not think its something wrong?
