This is for the ladies! I wonder if you was wearing a white dress you you got married and why you ended up choosing a white one these days where you get get wedding dresses in almost every colour and shape there is? Did you have bridesmaids too and what colour was they wearing? I went white because I felt that a real wedding demands a white dressed bride - I guess I wanted to make it look really traditional.

I did wear a white dress because it happened to be the one I fell in love with at the time. If I were to get married again tomorrow I would probably choose one that's mostly white with splashes of color, like deep red ribbons down the back.

I imagine that "deep red ribbons down the back" would be really pretty too!

I also wanted a very traditional wedding, so that is why I wore a white dress. White also symbolizes purity, and I thought that was important. I fell in love with the third dress I tried on, and it was perfect for me. I did have bridesmaids, and they wore deep red dresses. I thought it looked really pretty, and we got a ton of compliments on how nice the wedding looked.

i wore an ivory (not really white) wedding dress with pink/lilac flowers stitching. i wanted my wedding dress to have a hint of our color motiff. i even had matching shoes to go with my wedding dress. my bridesmaids wore pink dresses with lilac flowers stitching. you can see pics of my wedding dress and my bridesmaids' dresses here - http://community.webshots.com/user/marloncez_101103
