can be a women and a man only friends?

I know that they can. One of my best friends is a man and we are just friends and will never be anything else. he is a person that knows all about me, a person that has seen me cry laugh and be angry. and i have seen all his good and bad sides. There is no attraction between him and me - that would feel like hooking up with my brother =)

I think men and women can be friends and nothing else as long as it's what both parties want. if one wants a relationship with the other and the other doesn't it can get complicated however.

yes, i have a lot of male friends and i can say that i have a deep relationship with them. like a brother and sister relationship and if there was attraction at first i believe it is just the same effect as a friction whenever a man and a woman meet, but after you pass that stage, you can be really good friends. most of them are married now and i'm glad they trust me enought to be the godmothers of their sons and daughters.

I believe it is possible. I have both male and female friends. So I do not see why it should not be possible to have all male friends. The gender is not so important to me, rather their qualities as human beeings.

in my opinion, it was possible. as a teen and into my early 20's, i mostly had guy friends, and only one female friend. as far as i could tell, the friendly relationships that i had with the guys were just that-friendly. then i met my boyfriend(my husband now) who says i was all wrong. in HIS opinion, there is NO such thing as a guy friend. according to him, guys become friends with females that they are attracted to and want to hook up with eventually. needless to say, i lost contact with my guy friends :( but it was worth it! but of course this made life for him difficult, now i get suspicious if he starts talking about a female, that he is referring to as a "friend". so of course, that also means that he has no female friends. we have eachother, and our coupled freinds. no more "but what ifs" about the feelings that the other friend may be feeling.

it is very impossible for a man and woman to just stay friend. I have a guy best friend and we've been friends for many years now. It is very platonic, just hanging around and helping each other through our problems. :))
