Hi xnipher, I am currently using opera as my default internet browser. It is much faster when compared to other browsers. I like the overall speed performance of it. It has fast execution especially when returning back from previously visited pages. It is safe to use too. It has widgets like the add-ons of mozilla. Overall, I am so impressed and grateful with my opera browser. However, I also used mozilla and IE for sometime. Have a nice day and God speed!

You know, Firefox uses up more memory than you would think, especially if you keep it running for a long time. They are trying to work on fixing this in the new release of Firefox 3, which should be out in the fall, maybe sooner. Also, the incredibly long startup time is quite annoying with Firefox. As for IE, well, IE6 didn't have tabs, which are sort of standard nowadays, but IE7 took up a lot of memory to load up the next tab that I wanted to open. IE7 was very slow in loading opening the tab, so that drew me away from that browser. Right now, I use Maxthon. You should give it a try if you want a browser that will use up even less memory than Firefox.

I use Mozilla Firefox also. I've never been a fan of Internet Explorer, so this is perfect for me.

Mozilla Firefox, way better than I.E., not as many popups and more security, and I.E. loads much much slower than FF.
