Do you give money to beggars?

I would rather teach the person how to fish than giving him a fish everyday... But i dont mind helping a poor person financially who is striving hard to come up in life... But to those people who are poor and physically capable of doing some form of work to earn a living, but instead beg for money are not the ones who are to be helped...

no... becaus we are taught to never to a thing like that. There are better ways to help beggars and poor people in the streets, through donations and stuff like that.

Helping anybody by lending them some money is good. I used to give money to beggar previously but nowdays i too prefer giving to a true institute becoz these days if u give money to one of them then whole lot comes. That is a gr8 problem for us.

Please don't... especially to children. The streets are a dangerous place for them to be. It will only encourage them to beg for more. The few cents you have to give wont be enough to pay for the hospital if ever they get into trouble. You're doing the right thing contributing to organizations instead.
