Are they Happy or not so Happy Feet????

Do any of you download films for the net? Recently a friend of mine had been trying to download the animate film Happy Feet for sometime. Myself and my eldest were at her house when she noticed it was finally downloaded and got really excited! She quickly clicked to play it and as we sat on the sofa the film started, it may have made some parts happy but don't think it was really anything to do with feet! As I tried to cover my sons eyes, she frantically tried to close down the window and every time it closed it would pop back open again!!! My question is has anything similar happened to you guys out there or when you download films are they always what they say?

as i see it, it practically describes how Mumble's(the tap dancing penguin) feet dances its way when he's happy or excited. dancing was Mumble's way of showing his happiness since he wasn't able to sing (the "heart song"). c",)

It sounds like to me that you didnt get the real movie Happy Feet. It is a great movie. I hate to say it thats what people get when they do things illegally. You get what you download.If your going to priate movies you get what you deserve and it sounds like to me you got a R movie instead of PG. Try purchasing it March 27th if your in the states the legal way of course!

oh yes! I dont remember trying to down load soemthing and when it was done, It was nothing like I wanted. It was about a horse and a man and that is about all I can say without disrespecting anyone and getting thrown out of mylot.

Its easier waiting till they get released on dvd then copy the dvd

I am pretty SURE you didnt get the right movie! *L* Yeah Happy Feet is about a dancing penguin he actually tap dances instead of sings cause of something that happened to him while still in the egg. So yeah you got thee wrong film. Maybe it was a film to make fun of it.
There is this book called "Who Cut The Cheese?" making fun of that other one called "Who Stole the Cheese?" (or I think thats the title). So look into that might not even be a fake but made up title!

I could not get you, Are you trying to say that it was a X rated movie? Downloaded wrongly? If that is the case it should have been really a bad experience for your child. You should be really careful next time with your downloads, you should check them yourself before you give your child, access to it.

Yes i've had a lot of experiences regarding downloads and stuff.. i guess that's what you'd call.. instant karma.. haha.. this mostly happens when your using a peer to peer exchange program. SOme items were not really labeled properly by the sharer and mostly they do this deliberately just for the fun of it... At least your lucky that you didnt get a virus out of this.. i used to get a lot virus from downloading too that's why ive been careful in setting up my preferences on the p2p program that i use now.. i wouldnt wanna risk a ssystem crash again =(

Hi Mummy,
I have downloaded alot of songs from the net but i have never tried to download a film, and i think thats put me off trying to now lol
I saw Happy Feet in the cinema and i thought it was absolutely awful anyway, even my then 4 year old got "bored" lol

Lol oh man that's funny. It's very unfortunate though. Things like that always happen. People name it something that it isn't so they can get downloaded. Which sucks a family that was happening to watch it together like yours for example. People like that I hate because it sucks when it happens to you and it's unfortunate.

LOL that must have been such a shock..hehe! It happens sometimes when you aren't sure of the content on sites, all sites aren't reliable. I usually download the movies I want from www.torrentspy.com and via Bitcomet. I get DVD quality and it has always been what it said it was.

I always download the film throught the net but I never got the problem like you. Where do you download it?? From normal download or from P2P download. I also has been downloaded the Happy Feet film and the quality is good and I think more good that the original cd or dvd.

I tried to download the movie cars the first and last attempt to pirate a movie.The first time it was in french and the second time I got the same result as you did.Lets say I learned my lesson and just went out and bought the dang movie.It was a lesson well learned.

mel this is true but he just laughed so hard - think it was my friends reaction to the film content that made him react like this! Hope you didn't watch what you got too closely - I'll have to tell your lovely mummy! Nice to see you honey - hope you have a great week!
