Mylot abusers & cheaters

hey mom! I hear what you are saying, but those idiots are really only kidding themselves. You will most likely not get paid for those responses, but also they seem to think that they will, but mylot knows who is doing what. Short one and two word answers do not get paid anything. That was spelled out when we signed up. In fact mylot may even deduct other earnings from these losers. I would not worry too much about them, because they will leave soon when they realize they will earn almost nothing.

I'm pretty new to mylot just joined yesterday and I think most intelligent responses take more than 2-3 words...just know there are and will be people that take the time to read what you have written and will reply..so questions don't take a whole lot to answer but a word or 2 is just a waste of your time and there's... I get it a few times and yes I report it. I am more annoyed with the people that clog up all the new started discussions with things like. "what color are your eyes" or other one liners. Not only is it a waste but who ever responds is going to lose their money when it gets deleted. When I was knew I had no clue that I could lose my earnings over it. Now I just avoid them and continue looking for a discussion that I like.

I think that mylot is finding these cheaters, and probably finding ways to limit there earnings, They soon will be posting and not earning anything. but there are still people that will try and get some money for doing nothing. supposedly there's a software program that will post hundreds and thousands of times for your posts. but I hope that mylot will find that and delete those cheaters. I believe that mylot was made of a community thats growing stronger everyday, and will continue for the next few years at a nice growth rate. take care Jon

im new and have started a few threads havent had this problem yet. i just started the threads today so who knows might happen to me. i think its sad people do this.

I havent been here long...but I have noticed some of this myself by browsing and reading through posts. I try to have good responses to the topics and make them worth reading. I really enjoy reading other peoples posts and try to put a response in here and there when I can.

Good for you. I haven't had too many run ins lately. I use to get the ones that would write like this... lkjasfdjoitkf iaejsf fkjeo keofjak Then I got the ones that would add some kind of little poem that had absolutely noting to do with the discussion. Or simply saying hi to me... come on people!!!

oh yess! This has been on my erious pet peeves for sometime now..and i just report there happy bums lol..I hate the answers that like if i talk about my son or children..i get the..i dont have kids...response..aarghh! well then dont freakin answer! move on..right? i gove them negatives as well..orr the worst of em all..are the copy and pasters of a freakin book about the subject..and not put anything personal down..like i'll ask about Ghosts..and they put the definition down..which is a page long..and thats it..arghhh! i just cant stand it! lol!

Yup, drives me nuts when I see them too. I usually don't have the chance to report them though because as I read further in the discussion, someone else already did. So, at least we're all sticking together on this and reporting the abusers! It is pretty messed up that you always have a few bad apples to spoil the whole lot. Hopefully by those of us dedicated and reporting them, we can get them booted off mylot.

Yes, I do report them. It is making me so angry. We want to have mylot as safe and positive site. I couldn't agree with you more.

I don't post too many topics but I have seen quite a lot of the responses that you are referring to. When I first read the response I assume that the poster doesn't know much English and so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. However, when I read responses like "I like your topic", or " I agree", I check all their responses to other discussions and if they are the same, then I will certainly report them, and I will also let them know that I have reported them so that others can do the same. I doubt very much that they get paid for the couple of words which they post.

I KNOW what you mean! I see them ALL the time. Its like why did they reply to this discussion? To just make money? You wont make THAT much. However I wouldnt negative anyone. I got really low amount of pay one day 2 cents because I put a negative on someone. I swear that day I posted at least 18 comments and yet $.02? So no more negatives. And I've never reported anyone YET but I might do that one if need be!

I have not experienced that here, but I heard a few times here that really someone who copy and paste the same responses over and over again. Well, you cant really help it, others just cheat to keep on increasing their earnings and pasting it even if it does not fit the discussions. I know mylot cannot trace all that here and they need our help in guarding those who are taking advantage and being irresponsible here on mylot.

I'm new here, just started a day ago, but it sounds like that would be annoying, yet, expected at a site like this. Does it actually pay for them to post like that? Does reporting them do any good? I don't recommend using this site just to make money. You never really will, but like you, I love the exchange of ideas and opinions this site gives.

i have encountered lots of members here who abuse the system. i have seen today discussions which really don't make sense at all. like just combing letters. for example: sjhhhhhdddlllhdhhh and so on. there are those whose responses are just copy paste and they do this to so many discussions. there are those who loves to say "yeah, right" or "yeah, i agree" or "no, i don't understand" or "sorry, i have no idea" and so on. it annoys me when encountering such posts. they are worthless actually and i hope these people get warned or if not, get kicked out from this wonderful site. they give mylot a dirty name.

Don't upset yourself. Just report them. Believe me these people do not get their pennies. Mylot sees to that, soon enough this lot will be gone, but as new people join, the problem keeps coming up. I also agree with one of the responses you got, some people have a limited knowledge of English and don't fully understand the rules, others may have been told"the more you post the more money you will get" but did not check out the information.

Yes, its true that many people respond to our discussions in just a line or few words. They do this in order to increase there no. of posts for, they want to make more money. But these people forget one thing that this way, they may make few cents, but they lose much precious thing i.e. the Knowledge that we share when taking part in discussions. And when compared with the cents they make, I think they are losing too much! I do have got this type of responses for my discussions as well, but I haven't reported this to mylot since I know, its the one who posts is in loss, not me!

Thankfully not encountered this too much on any threads I've posted, but I can see how frustrating it would be to do so. I guess the problem is that when a site pays people to talk, there will be some people who are only there to make as much money as they can and who will spoil it for the rest.
