How do most of ya'll feel about the welfare system. if you are recieveing benefits or not what's your opinion of there system. I think that they just like to string you along for a lousy couple hundred dollars and some of them act like it's coming out of there own pockets. some of us need this just to get by. nowadays it's very hard to find jobs in this f-up world.

Personally it is coming to a time where they need to do away with it. We need that money to go someplace else.
In my position they raised taxes, unemployment and workers compensation so now my employees have to take a pay cut or they can't work with me.
See how taking money from the working man hurts everything.
If I had it my way some rich people would be getting taxed hard.
"Oh you have a van sitting in the garage while you & your wife are at work... In order for you to provide your service to the welfare community she is gonna take your van go pick up 20 welfare kids & take them to the zoo."
The rich are the ones who need to give more. Not me. I just started my business & don't make a lot. Most of the time my employees make more than I do per hour because I have to get the job, design it, plan it, look all over the world for the plants I need. One time I made $2.73 an hour.
Now they want to come at me raising all of this bs. Well now I can't pay them. The brilliant governor of my state thought insurance companies need to make more & the guy out there sweating his azzz off loses his job. 2 people are not going to be working for me because of it.
If I have to provide health care like they are planning then I definitely can't hire anyone. People will only pay so much to pull weeds, mow grass & trim trees. When you can't get the best you go to the outlet. & they will too. They'll say dang this guy is sorry. Why did we get rid of the good guy? $3 is what they'll say. LOL
Something needs to change.

Yes as far as percentage goes the rich pay a lower percentage. So if they paid 1% more just a dollar on every hundred it would go a LONG way.
As I stated earlier because I pay my employees the most I can pay them now that the government thought they need to take more from me, TWO people lose a job. Sure I will still work and when I hire someone else they will be making $3 an hour less. That $3 an hour, over $100 a week will go to the insurance company and the worker will never see it.

I believe that the welfare system was conceptualized solely for the protection of the work force. The sad thing about it is, they raised the amounts they collect from the workers although, they know that budgeting has become quite a task already because of the rising prices and the salaries hardly coping with it.
They know about the plight of the workers along this angle, yet instead of addressing it, they just shrug their shoulders. We get the impression then that they are no longer after our welfare, but theirs.

you might just be right about that but still things need to change to meet the standards that needed for whatever they might need it for. the way welfare treat people is sometimes not good and they basically give you there a$$ to kiss for money that's not even there's
