What does this reputation means and what does it do? I think it's shown as a lil star above your avatar...And how do I gain popularity? :)

you can gain popularity by :-
* starting good quality discussions
* responding to others discussions with
good quality replies
* making as many friends as possible
* getting many referrals (active) to Mylot
* uploading good quality relevant images
with your discussions
