I loved this entire movie from start to finish, ok maybe not the one part, on Valentine's day...I loved it when he went and changed her surroundings, like planting the trees, then they appeared, in her time. I was wondering why others didn't notice that the trees were all of a sudden there, because she noticed that they were new. Now, I may have to go watch this movie again to see what else I liked about it. I was just wondering if any of you had a favorite special effect, and what it was?

It's been awhile since I have seen it, but didn't he give her roses for Valentine's Day? Didn't they just appear to her? That was so romantic, just as the whole movie was romantic.
When the mailbox flag kept going up and down as they were both sitting by it furiously writing letters to each other. A simple special effect, but an interesting part of the movie.

no problem, and I'm glad you enjoyed the movie again. My daughter actually bought it for me for my birthday, so we watch it a lot.

I thought The Lakehouse was so cute and romantic but it's so unrealistic! I didn't expect it to be like that, maybe that's the only thing I was disappointed in. I know that it probably was intended this way but I just didn't expect it.

I like the part where you mention about the instant trees appearing. I am a lover of vegetation.
I was amazed at the special effects shown in Matrix. There was a series presented. One special effect after another, all beautifully executed.

LOL had me confused on the actual movie you were talking about and was about to ask you myself, am glad I read the other responses first :) I have never heard of this movie but am certainly going to put it on my list to look for. From what everyone has said it does sound like something I would enjoy.
