You don't have to go into detail as to the name of your company, but a little information as to what you do for a living. A Tech, A doctor, A lawyer, anything. What do you like about your job? What are your dislikes about your job? How long have you been with your company?
Myself, I'm a customer sales specialist at a large phone company. I bacially handle government contracts, making adjustments as needed, working with other project managers, the customer themselves on the making sure billing is accurate.
What I enjoy about my job is it's going to be a challenge, being I'm new to this division, plus there is always something new each day. The downfall is I'm not liking my new hours...lol..I get off the same time rush hour traffic starts around the Washington DC area...lol...I've been with my company about 8 years now.
Your turn....

I just started a new career. I worked for a family-owned car dealership. I'm their internet BDC Rep/eBay Motors specialist/Pre-owned Assistant Manager. I have been in this job for three months now. I'm on the phone most of the time talking to people. I'm not exactly sales, more of customer service in a way. Surprising enough, I enjoy my job. I like the people I work with (never mind what they say about car sales people, but this dealership have a great sales staff), the challenge of meeting goals and the variety of my responsibilities. I actually did not expect to do well in this capacity.
Previous, to this job, I was a teacher for almost ten years. I have taught from middle school to high school to college level. Now, why I left that profession is another story to tell...

Well Congratulations to you. I'm happy you are enjoying what you do. As to teaching, just as my previous job, It to be became so repetitious that I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to do something different.
Well I'm happy you are enjoying your new career change, good luck to you also

where do you get the time to participate so much on my log?
anyway, I am a secretary/ office manager by trade, but I have been working from home for the last 3 years since I had my last child, as a freelance artist/ painter.
I have liked being home, although we are struggling financially. Being an artist does not pay that great, unless you are Monet, etc.
If anyone wants to see my paintings I do, please visit-

I love to paint, it is therapy and relaxation for me.

Right now i am doing data entry and working at a insurance company that pays medical claims. I went back to school 2 years ago for medical secretary and would love to find a job doing that. Or to go back to school and take the review class and 4 hour test to be able to work in a hospital in their billing department.

That sound like fun what you do. Good luck with the possibility of going back to school if you choose.
