Would it be wrong for women to propose to their boyfriends??

Well okay, I admit i am a bit traditional about things and getting proposed to is one of them. I've successfully completed college and have been with my boyfriend for a little over 4 years, so I know i'm ready for things. BUT.. just in case it takes a while for my boyfriend to ask me to marry him, do you think it would be wrong or inappropriate to ask him myself?
