Do You Lie About Your Age?

Okay....I have a birthday coming up, and for years I have told people that I no longer celebrate it, I have been 24yr for a long time now, people have stopped asking how old I am going to be on my birthday, because they know I'll just say I'm 24..
And for years no one questioned it, I'm under 5ft tall, so my shortness has always make me appear younger, but the truth is I no longer look 24, and after seeing a recent photo of myself I thinking I may half to just bite the bullet, and try to face the fact that I'm going to be...32...
Nah, Maybe I'll wait until next year to start being honest...

I haven't lied about my age before.. probably because there has been no need. But then again, I am a guy. Lying about age is a lady's prerogative. ;P

Im getting old myself however when anyone askes my age I reply you know a woman who will tell you her age will tell you anything !my age is my business!

When I was actually 24, I worked at the local pharmacy and the busboy from the store next to us, use to come over and bring me candy and flowers, it was embarrassing to have to tell him that I was 24 and married. When I started to look like I wasn't in my teens anymore, it was easier to just say I was 24, no one believed me when I told them the truth anyhow. It's really none of their business.

i dont lie about my age
i am just 20 years old and i look like a kid
so people think that i am 16 years old
i always correct them that i am not 16 years old

No, I don't lie about my age. I am 51. Most people that guess my age guess about 10 years younger. With age comes life lessons. I am proud of all the lessons I have learned throughout my life. Some have been hard , some not. There is nothing wrong with getting older, the alternative is to be 6 feet under. The experience of growing older is remarkable in itself. Doing it gracefully is an extra bonus.

Hello, well I think the "lying about my age" is most common in women. For example my grandma may be around the 80´s, but noone really knows her age. Not even her son/daughters . That is the family mystery. :p. I really don´t know why they are all scared about getting older and people knowing their age. Any womn want to answer that? . Thanks.

I dont lie. I just dont answer. I'll be 30 on my next bday and I'm having a huge problem with that.

Honestly I have NO reason to lie about my age at all. When I tell people my age most of the time they dont believe me and tell me I look younger. I am 31 I was born in December of 1975. You do the math.

LOL - I can so relate to this hun. I am 55 years young, but I have been mistaken for early 40's - great. I have lied about my age on occasion, usually when I don't know the person that well, although all my friends know my real age.

I'm only 22 years old and I don't lie about my age. Obviously I'm still young but even when I was younger I never lied about my age. I never tried to tell people I was older or younger than I actually was. I don't really see the point, no offense! Honestly though, you don't look like you are 32. I'm not going to say you look like you are 24 either, but I'd say you were upper 20's! Take care!

some teenage glz hide their age to do/ not attract.
i never tell my real age . i just increase it by 20.

Hi, Well to be honest when I was younger I used to say I was older know that I'm in my thirties I just try to avoid the subject. My little sister and my 8 year old has been trying to figure out how old I am for the longest time....lol. When your ready to start telling the truth about you will don't sweat it.I don't know when birthday is but, have a good one.

i've always looked younger, thanks to good genetics, lol! people always mistake me as a teenager or in my early twenties, and when they know my exact age (32), they are always shocked, and they think i'm just putting them on. okay, fine, then, suit, yourself.

I have always told people how old I am. They never believe me anyway. I have never looked my age. I was still being carded in my late 40's early 50's. I see no need to lie about it. I am 55 and I don't look it. I never wear makeup and I don't lay out in the sun. I do try to take care of myself.

I have no problem in revealing my age to anyone coz i dont mind it
afterall its my age and if i say true or false my age goin to be the same right

I'm 29 years old, and I've never lied about my age.. Like you, I'm petite and I've always looked younger than my age.. Thats actually the reason why almost all the guys I've dated were younger than me, including my husband.. Guys my age were not interested in me because they thought I was too young for them.. It's kinda cool actually whenever I'd tell people how old I am and they'd be like shocked about it cos they thought I was younger..
