Parents, ADHD, Kids, Disabilities and Disorders

I am a single mom of 2 boys. My oldest has ADHD and learning disabilities. I am inspired by him to find out everything I can about his disorder and others like it. I like to help people that are stuggleing with these same issues. I have a web site on the topic. And we all need someone to talk to.

Hi. My daughter (12) has ADHD and on of my sons (5) is displaying symptoms also. We have been through a spectrum of doctors for my daughter and now have her on medication which is helping. We are also looking into a programme called DORE.

I think they work on the theory that the cerebellum doesn't develop properly in people with ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia etc and they do exercises to stimulate that part of the brain. They seem to have a lot of success and we are having someone come to our house this week to discuss it. I will let you know how it goes.
